Give a Hoptimist and experience the joy of giving. Gustav Ehrenreich created the happy movement in the late 1960s, which has gone on to earn itself a place in Danish design history.

Today, there is a happy Hoptimist for every occasion. So, wherever it finds itself, a Hoptimist is guaranteed to spread joy. That’s the whole idea behind the Hoptimists: To spread joy and bring a smile to everyone’s face.

We are extremely proud that the Hoptimists are part of the great Danish design family today: From Kay Bojesen’s monkey to the PH lamp.

What all the family members have in common is that their design lasts. We relaunched the Hoptimist in 2009, and today the figures are hopping around again in Denmark and in the rest of the world.

When we further develop the design, we do so in the spirit of Ehrenreich. His basic idea was to draw the Hoptimists using a circle and an ellipse, and the classic and the new generation of figures are based on this idea.

Available in four sizes, the aerolatte® French Press Cafetiere comes complete with easy to remove glass beaker – resulting in the dishwasher safe glass beaker being easy to clean and replace if needs be. In addition, the coffee press also comes complete with a coffee grounds microfilter spout. This is a secondary filter that prevents any grinds entering your cup of coffee and helps create a superior beverage. The aerolatte® French Press Cafetiere has also been designed with a distinctive measuring gauge, which makes it easy to estimate the amount of coffee to water required.

The aerolatte® replacement glass carafe is easy to remove from the stainless steel holder. Its is dishwasher safe, making it easy to clean and replace if need be.
